Great location, a very good restaurant and friendly and helpful staff!

I stayed from April 3 to 5, it was WONDERFUL, cleanliness staff everything absolutely more than perfect definitely there will be a next time.

The staff was super nice and friendly — the rooms and everything was very clean. The hotel is conveniently located near the bus station and many tourist spots. There is a rooftop terrace, it is without service but you can sit there relaxation and breathtaking views of Lake Maggiore and the town of Ascona. Breakfast was great although there were not many vegetarian options. They also generously provided transportation tickets for buses and trains in Ticino during my stay, which was a very thoughtful gesture!

I wasn’t expecting much given the hotel’s stellar rating but was positively surprised to find a comfortable, clean room with a partial view of the lake, quiet enough at night to leave the windows open (important in this particularly hot summer)–a fan also helped), and a great location near the main promenade on Lake Major. In addition, the breakfast was incredible. Good value for money, considering the expensive country.

A very nice hotel in a great location and lovely surroundings. The view from my balcony was beautiful, it was quiet at night and the birds were singing in the morning. Tasty breakfast and very helpful staff — they corrected my bill twice at my request, fast and efficient.

I recommend to everyone a stay at this hotel just off the lakefront, a 2-minute walk away, with a beautiful view of Ascona.

Hotel La Perla is a fantastic location that, with its splendid views from both the rooms and the terrace, make it all very impressive. Top service and rooms. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.

We stayed for two nights in the hotel, great hospitality, top check in, the room always has everything you need. Very clean!
We had dinner in Ascona on the first evening, about 5 minutes from the lake. On the second evening we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant, which we should have done on the first evening. I am a meat eater, my wife is veggie, we got our money’s worth. Compliments to the kitchen, not just a 0 8 15 veggie menu. The waiter was great! Breakfast buffet small but nice, something for everyone.
A big compliment to the staff, reception and service.
We will certainly come back again!
